July 14th is a national holiday in France—a day of baguettes, cheese, wine, and perfume! Grasse is the world capital of perfumery. For generations, artisanal perfumers and florists have passed on their unique knowledge to keep this exceptional heritage alive. At Bon Parfumeur, we are proud to be able to contribute to this.
Normandy, Grasse, Cognac, Grignan, Chartres, Aix-en-Provence… we aim to keep our supply chain short. Short enough so that we can travel throughout France, visiting all our suppliers, with a camera under our arm!
-In Normandy, Pochet du Courval: This name may not mean anything to you... but it's the historic and most famous French glassworks. This is where our bottles are produced!
- Auvergne: Well known for its cheeses, it is also in this region that our packaging is manufactured... A few meters from the Brioude basilica.
- Cognac: You've probably heard of it, but we're not interested in the alcohol produced here. Instead, it's where we get our labels! (Who would have thought?)
- Chartres: Because they must be as robust as the cathedral, our products are assembled in this beautiful city!
- Rumilly in Savoie, also known for its cheese! But this time, we're there for the maker of our hand creams (we'll be back for the Reblochon).
- Aix-en-Provence, right next to Villeneuve: renowned for its soap making, of course. This is where all our solid soaps are made.
- Cugand, an hour from Nantes, in Loire Atlantique: head to Bougies La Française. It's no surprise that with such a name they make candles (since 1902)! Bingo, we've found our partner! It's thanks to their team that our candles are so beautiful!
As you can see, we are very attached to our products 100% made in France ;)
