Eau de parfum 103 : tiare flower, jasmine and hibiscus

€82.00

103 - Tiare flower, Jasmine, Hibiscus

Family : Flowered

Head: Bergamot Italy, Broom, Hibiscus

Heart: Jasmine Sambac, Neroli Morocco, Frangipani, Apricot

Bottom: White sand, Vanilla, Musks

If I tell you: walking on the beach, warm sand and coconut trees? The 103 is the solar perfume par excellence! With its Tiaré flower, hibiscus and white sand accords, it will make you travel for sure! It opens with fresh top notes of bergamot from Italy and green Neroli from Morocco. The heart unveils a solar floral bouquet of Frangipani and Jasmine Sambac: which adds character through its orange and green animal notes. The vanilla and musk base reveals a warm, milky trail reminiscent of the sweetness of Monoi and soothing vacation memories.

What is Sambac Jasmine?

In perfumery, two varieties of jasmine are mainly used: Grandiflorum jasmine which can be found in Grasse or Egypt and Sambac jasmine which is mainly grown in India.

The scent of Sambac jasmine is greener, while the one of Egyptian jasmine is more fruity and sweet and the one of Grasse jasmine is more jammy and petal-like.

The physical particularity of Sambac jasmine is its number of petals, exceeding the five petals of Grandiflorum jasmine by far.

What is Monoi?

Monoi is a fragrant oil obtained by maceration of Tiare flowers in refined copra oil (from the coconut). It is used as a massage oil to nourish the skin and hair but also as a tanning oil to prevent dehydration of the skin in the sun (attention it does not replace sunscreen). Monoi is a traditional product of the islands of French Polynesia.

Where does Neroli come from?

Neroli is the essential oil of the bitter orange blossom obtained by steam distillation. This tree allows the recovery of many extracts: Bitter Orange essential oil extracted from the fruit, Petit Grain essential oil extracted from branches and twigs and Orange Blossom absolute extracted from the flower obtained by extraction with volatile solvents.
