Sea, spray and sun! Like the sea breeze brushing against our face, 801 refreshes us with its trio of Italian citrus fruits. This wind then picks up, sending spices, pink pepper and nutmeg swirling. The rows of cedars and cypresses fill the air with their facets of wood dried by the sun’s rays. A summer memory to wear all year round.

PS: Try pairing it with a more woody note, like that of our fragrance 601, for lots of elegance and supreme freshness!

Why did we formulate with organic Camelina oil?
It is considered a wild weed of the wheat and flax fields. Rich in omega 3, it is at the same time softening, soothing and regenerating. It is obtained after cold pressing the seeds.

Even more natural?
Products that come from nature! Bon Parfumeur is committed to saving the planet and to ensuring your well-being. The soap is made with 90% naturally derived ingredients. This product has no plastic cellophane wrapping; the recyclable card packaging is all it needs.

What does “aquatic” mean in perfumery?
This relatively recent fragrance category was born in the 90s with the discovery of certain ingredients. We’re talking, of course, about aquatic notes, briny and reminiscent of seaside memories. But it’s also more than that; “aquatic” refersto all the notes that suggest water-filled plants and fruits, like melon or watermelon. They lend a watery dimension to compositions. Lotus is also very useful for recreating this sensation, by adding its gentle floral touch. It is incidentally one of the star ingredients of our 802, an aquatic fragrance with hints of rose which, if you’re intrigued, you can find here.

How to use your solid soap?
To fully enjoy the benefits of your soap, start by wetting your skin. Then take a small amount of product in the palm of your hand and gently wash your body using circular motions. Leave the soap to air-dry on a soap holder that allows water to drain away freely.

Tossed in the wind, we sail off into the unknown, entranced by the colors of Marseille. Or, a simple guitar riff on the beach with a few friends, a sleepless night and hazy memories.

Since living in Grasse as a child and attending the Roure perfumery school (now Givaudan), Karine Dubreuil-Sereni has created iconic fragrances like Lanvin Eclat d’Arpège and become a fragrance designer for Bon Parfumeur. But Karine is not just a great perfumer; she’s also a classical opera singer. Jasmine, orange blossom, mimosa, rose, iris, anise and exquisite citrus fruits are the ingredients Karine finds most addictive, reminding her of her childhood in Grasse. “Creativity, for me, is how open we are to the world, how curious we are.” That is why Karine’s sources of inspiration are so diverse: travel, a raw material, a new plant, a good meal... and above all art. She is particularly fond of the artist Roman Zaslonov, who has a very colorful personality. She thinks that “being a Bon Parfumeur means never losing your inner child, spontaneity and creativity.”
