What's new for this fall? A desire for warm, sweet, captivating, and colorful fragrances. This season, we love spices, woods, and vanilla. Alison, who recently joined the Bon Parfumeur communications team, reveals her must-haves for fall.
1/ The red fire of amber and spices
Sunday 11 a.m. Rainy weather. Brunch at Le Sentier in Paris to catch up on summer. The smell of fresh coffee and pain au chocolat makes your nostrils tingle, and you want a warm scent like a good cashmere sweater. We opt for a fragrance with notes of creamy sandalwood, amber, and enveloping facets like 301 and 302 .
2/ Green for the woods
The rain has stopped, and the Luxembourg Gardens are aglow with colorful foliage. Everywhere you can smell the scent of rain, the freshness of clean air, and the damp woods. These are exactly the autumn scents Alison loves and finds in 601 and 602 .
3/ Purple kiss of sweet vanilla and soft musks
Golden lights and city nights. Tonight at Oberkampf: Alison admits to having a weakness for rum arrangés. The fusion of vanilla, spices, and liqueur notes... it's no coincidence that she's wearing numbers 401 and 402 .
