Almond notes in perfumery 🧡

We all know the eternal debate between pain au chocolat and chocolatine... We're launching a new one: frangipane or brioche crown? At Bon Parfumeur, we don't choose, we opt for both!

🧡 Team frangipane king cake:
It all starts with a fireside snack. Gourmet notes of vanilla and almond float. They blend perfectly and share the same sweet and comforting lexicon.

This reminds us of our 402 and its creamy vanilla.

Halfway between an almond dessert and a vanilla milk, it's a wonderfully addictive scent on the skin. It's like the last piece of cake, everyone's fighting over it!

Did you know? In perfumery, almond notes actually come from benzaldehyde, a colorless liquid with a bitter almond scent. It's made from the inside of apricot kernels. They can also come from heliotrope. A name that echoes heliotrope: the flower that turns toward the sun (and smells of almonds and cherries). This molecule exists naturally, in small quantities, in violet leaves.

🤍 Orange Blossom Brioche Team with 001 :
We let ourselves be carried away by the sweetness of this cake sprinkled with sugar... A return to our Provençal childhood guaranteed! As for the scent, a delicious, slightly invigorating floral blend, like a Mediterranean breeze, tickles our nostrils.

Did you know: Orange blossom was a very popular perfume at the court of Louis XIV. He was known as the king who "bloomed well." He owned the large orangery outside the palace, which gave off the scent of neroli during the flowering season!

PS: Layering the two flavors works wonders! We recommend trying this mix & match!
