Is payment and order processing on the website secure?

Payment processing on our platform is 100% secure thanks to our partnership with Stripe (#1 payment processor in the world) and 3D secure to prevent fraudulent transactions. We pay a lot of attention to the treatment of personal data, we do not keep your credit card information nor can read them as they are directly passed to Stripe. When you browse our website the transaction is 100% secure. A lock should be displayed at the bottom of your screen or at the top next to your search bar. Informations shared are then encrypted and will always remain as such.

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card is debited at the checkout. You will receive an order confirmation email indicating the amount debited to your payment method.

My payment isn’t going through, what can I do?

We are sorry to hear that! If your payment is refused, your order will not be confirmed. We invite you to try again with another payment method or contact your bank for more information. We are also here to help you by email at contact@bonparfumeur.com

Can I pay my order in multiple installments ?

We do offer “3 interest free payments” through our payment processing partner Alma for orders over 50€ to the following countries: France, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Italy. Orders under 50€ can’t be paid in multiple installments. In order to take advantage of the 3 interest free payments you must select “3x Alma - Pay in 3 installments ” as a payment method upon checkout. You will then be redirected to our partner to process your order in 3 installments over 3 months, free of charge.

I’d like to use my discount code, how do I add it?

During checkout, you will be able to add your discount code in the tab provided. If you are trying to place an order from your mobile phone, you will need to click on the "details" button at checkout to insert your discount code. Please contact us if you have any problems with your discount code.

How do I buy a gift card?

You can buy a gift card here.We will send a lovely perfumed gift card by mail with all the instructions for using it online. If you would like to send the gift card directly to the recipient you can add your name and a small personalized message by emailing us with your order number. A printable version will also be emailed to you within 24 hours. Gift cards must be ordered separately and cannot be purchased along with other items. Gift cards are valid for one year on our e-shop and in the Bon Parfumeur boutique. They can be split up and used on several purchases. If you wish to know the balance of your gift card you can contact us at contact@bonparfumeur.com

How can I change my delivery address before placing an order?

You can change your delivery address when you are placing an order. You will always be asked to confirm your delivery address before the payment of your purchase. You can also change your registered addresses directly from your customer account. Log in to your account, click on "View addresses" and then "Add a new address" or modify an existing one using the "Edit" button.

I haven't received any order confirmation, what should I do?

After validation and payment of your order, you will receive an email confirming the registration of your order. If you did not receive any, it’s likely that our confirmation email landed in your spam box. Send us a message to contact@bonparfumeur.com

I have changed my mind, can I cancel my order?

We understand that this can happen. Please email us as soon as possible at contact@bonparfumeur.com. We will do our best to cancel the order before it is shipped. Orders can only be cancelled before shipment. If the order has already been shipped, a return will be necessary.

How do I receive an invoice for my online purchase?

At Bon Parfumeur, we are committed to doing our best for you and for the planet! As part of this commitment, we have chosen not to send paper invoices in our packages. However, you can obtain an invoice for your order by contacting us by email at contact@bonparfumeur.com

SHIPPING & RETURNS

Do you deliver worldwide?

No, we don't deliver worldwide yet. At the moment, our fragrances only travel within the European Union, the UK and the USA. If you are outside of these shipping areas, you can receive a list of our closest retailers here.

What delivery methods do you offer?

In France: Free standard shipping for all orders over 40€. Below this amount, a delivery charge of 2.90€ will be applied to the order.

In the European Union: For the following countries (Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain), standard delivery is free for all orders over 40€. Below this amount, a delivery charge of 5€ will be applied to the order. For the following countries (Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden), standard delivery is free for all orders over 50€. Below this amount, a delivery charge of 6.50€ will be applied to the order.

Will I pay customs duties on my order?

It depends on your situation. We ship European orders from France. It is possible that some destinations apply customs duties on French products. This may be the case for orders going to Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Albania, Montenegro etc...

Orders to the United Kingdom and the United States are shipped, with some exceptions, directly from the UK and the USA. Thus delivery times are reduced and no customs duties apply to these orders.

Please note that the customer is considered as an importer of the product when placing an order on a foreign website. As such, it is your responsibility to find out about the conditions for importing products into your country of delivery and to pay any import taxes required by customs. Bon Parfumeur cannot be held responsible for any customs fees related to an order.

In France:Delivery in pickup point: your order will be delivered directly to the relay point of your choice within 3 to 6 working days from dispatch via Mondial Relay. The delivery time of your order starts when you receive the email confirming the shipment of your order.
Standard delivery: your order will arrive at your home within 3 to 5 working days from the dispatch date via Colissimo. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday. The delivery window of your order starts when you receive the email confirming the shipment of your order.
Express delivery: your order will arrive at your home within 1 working day from the dispatch date via chronopost. Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday. The delivery window of your order starts when you receive the email confirming the shipment of your order.

In the United Kingdom:Standard delivery: your order will arrive at your door within 3 to 5 working days from the dispatch date via Royal Mail 2nd Class or 1st Class. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday. The delivery window of your order starts when you receive the confirmation email of the shipment of your order.
Express delivery: your order will arrive at your home within 1 working day from the dispatch date via DPD. Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday. The delivery window of your order starts when you receive the email confirming the shipment of your order.

In the United States:Standard delivery: your order will arrive at your door within 5 to 7 working days from the dispatch date via USPS or Fedex Ground. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday. The delivery window of your order starts when you receive the email confirming the shipment of your order.
Express delivery: your order will arrive within 3 working days from the dispatch date via Fedex 2nd day. Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday. The delivery window of your order starts when you receive the confirmation email of the shipment of your order.

Within the European Union:Standard delivery: your order will arrive at your home within 5 to 7 working days from the dispatch date via Colissimo. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday. The delivery window of your order starts when you receive the email confirming the shipment of your order.
Express delivery: your order will arrive at your home within 3 to 5 working days from the dispatch date via Chronopost. Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday. The delivery window of your order starts when we send you a confirmation email.

Please note that in addition to the times above, orders need between 1 and 4 working days for fulfillment. We do our best to dispatch orders placed before 11am on the same day but it is possible that during busy periods such as sales period or Christmas, delivery times may be extended to 3 working days.

Is it possible to have your order delivered to a pickup point?

Yes, we now offering delivery to pickup point but only in France!
With this service, your order will be delivered directly to the pickup point of your choice within 3 to 6 working days from dispatch via Mondial Relay. The delivery time of your order starts when you receive the email confirming the shipment of your order.

Is it possible to deliver abroad from the French site?

How can I track my order?

You can follow the progress of your order thanks to your "Tracking number" communicated by email when confirming the shipment of your order (sometimes confirmation emails are delayed or filtered to avoid spam, but this should be easy to solve). With this number you will be able to connect to the postal service website and track your parcel. How do I know when my order will arrive?

To find out the estimated delivery date of your order, you can check the tracking number sent by email upon shipping confirmation of your order and go to the “La Poste” website for European customers, Royal Mail website for UK customers and USPS website for US customers.

I did not receive any shipping confirmation email, what can I do?

If you did not receive any confirmation email it is possible that our emails have been delayed or filtered by your mailbox to avoid spam. Please contact us at contact@bonparfumeur.com to learn more about your shipment.

What are the delivery times during the Christmas period?

We generally dispatch on the same day all orders placed before 11am. During busy periods, such as sales or Christmas, our processing times may be extended to 3 working days. This is exceptional and we will notify you if this is the case. Please note that during busy periods, carriers also do their best to deliver parcels on time. However, it is possible that they extend delivery times by a few working days.

How can I change the delivery address once I have placed an order?

Don’t worry, mistakes happen! Send us an email as soon as possible to contact@bonparfumeur.com. We will do our best to update the delivery address of your parcel before it is shipped.

My tracking number doesn't work.

We are sorry that you can't track the steps of your shipment, this is frustrating! Please contact us at contact@bonparfumeur.com and we will check your parcel's latest status.Please note that samples shipments do not have a tracking number. They are sent by enveloppe and are usually delivered in France within 3 working days and 6 working days in the UE, UK and USA. If you haven’t received your samples after 10 working days, please contact us by email for more information.

My parcel has been dropped off at a relay point but I can't pick it up. What should I do?

In case of absence upon delivery of your parcel, it’s possible that our carrier will drop your parcel at a pickup point. You will then be informed by the carrier of the pickup point details and the deadline to collect your parcel. After this date, your order will be returned to us and we will proceed to a return or a refund. If this is your case feel free to contact us at contact@bonparfumeur.com  for more information.

My order is delayed, what can I do?

Don't worry, we are doing our best to deliver your order as soon as possible ! Please note that the delivery window starts from the shipping confirmation email sent upon fulfillment of your order. The delivery window does not include Sundays and public holidays. In addition, due to the sanitary crisis, delivery times may be extended by a few working days. My order has been delivered to the wrong address, what should I do?

Can I return my order?

Yes, we know that choosing a perfume online is not always easy! So returns are always free. Please email us at contact@bonparfumeur.com with your order number to receive return instructions. Please note that sales of samples are final and can’t be returned.

Do you offer Bon Parfumeur perfume samples?

What if I don't like my perfume?

We want you to love your fragrance and we’ll do whatever we can to make sure your Bon Parfumeur perfume works for you. If for any reason you're not satisfied with your product simply reach out to us at contact@bonparfumeur.com and we'll refund your order, no question asked. We do however reserve the right to limit the money back guarantee to one use per customer. The money back guarantee does not apply to samples orders.

What are the top, heart and base notes?

Perfumes are designed according to an olfactory pyramid:

- Top notes: These are the first scents you smell when you spray a perfume. They are often quite fresh and evaporate quite quickly on your skin (a few minutes).

- Heart notes: They appear as the head evaporates. They will stay with you for a few hours.

Are your products tested on animals?

No, we do not conduct any animal testing. Bon Parfumeur is committed to promote the animal's well being. Therefore we do not ask our partners to conduct animal testing either. Animal testing is also forbidden in the European Union and no longer mandatory in China. You know our commitment to the environment. Since day 1 we stand strongly against animal testing and decided not to sell our products on markets where it is mandatory.

What is the best way to apply perfume?

Yours! The art of perfuming is quite personal, but here are a few tips. Perfume will last longer on the warmest parts of your skin. We suggest your neck, behinf your ears, or on your wrists. Some people prefer to perfume their clothes, this works too! Have you ever tried to layer perfumes?

How long can I keep my perfume?

Perfumery professionals all agree that a fragrance doesn’t really have a date after which it can no longer be used. However, to ensure a unique olfactory experience for perfume lovers, most fragrance houses choose to include a use-by date on the packaging. Sometimes found on the bottom of the bottle, this date is usually 30 months. There’s no need for perfume addicts to worry: the bottle tends to empty much more quickly than that! Are there any synthetic ingredients? Could they be bad for my health?

Our perfumers will always work with the best natural ingredients available but may also use safe synthetics. Some raw materials are too allergenic, and some notes do not exist in nature. Each ingredient has been carefully selected to meet the highest health and safety standards. It is also sometimes wise not to exhaust the reserves of our dear planet and to use a synthetic ingredient that is olfactively very close.
